This means they oversee the entire process, from the first idea to how the movie is released. These Netflix special films are usually aimed at audiences all over the world.

We're here to talk about the newest original Korean movies that you can watch only on Netflix. Stay tuned to find out which movies have made the cut!

Set in the 22nd century, the movie portrays a future where humans have abandoned Earth, now uninhabitable due to extreme climate change. They create advanced space shelters for survival.

However, life in these shelters isn't peaceful. Internal disputes lead to a never-ending war. To stop the conflict, a researcher creates a mercenary clone named Jung_E, hoping this clone will end the war and restore peace. Now, can this cloned robot achieve this goal?

The film is directed by Yeon Sang Ho, known for his popular movies like "Train to Busan," "Peninsula," and "Hellbound." "Jung_E" holds special significance as it is the last film featuring actress Kang Soo Yeon, who passed away on May 7, 2022.

The movie, as the title hints, is about a man named Carter who wakes up with no memory, two months after a deadly pandemic. He finds a strange device in his ear, constantly telling him what's happening around him.

Carter is then given a mission by the voice in his ear: to find a child named Jung Ha Na and deliver her to North Korea. He's warned that if he doesn't follow the orders, he could explode at any moment because of a bomb implanted in his body.

Throughout his mission, Carter is torn. He can't figure out if this mysterious voice is a friend or a foe. This really hits him when he's trying to save Jung Ha Na, leading to a huge dilemma. Carter starts questioning his choices: is he doing the right thing, or is he just a pawn in someone else's game? It makes you wonder what's really going on with Carter, doesn't it?

To get into the role of Carter, actor Joo Won went all out. He even gained seven kilograms, all part of a four-month intense preparation for the movie. That's real dedication!
